  1. Each group should have several designs at this time
  2. Compare the designs you have against the survey results in a pugh chart
  3. Each person should make a paper version of the design they think will work the best.
  4. The design does not have to match perfectly with your previous design, it can be affected by your groupmates and
  5. Test your design out in a locker
  6. Photograph your design in a locker before next class
  7. You will need to revise the sizes of the parts to make them fit after doing the paper model.

  3. If they are coming a period early, everybody coming early will need parental and teacher permission.

Period 2 dismissal from class 10-23-06

The Museum of Science will be filming a video of the Standards Based Engineering class working during their regularly scheduled Period 3 class. The film crew and museum staff would like the opportunity to film during the period before the class meets. If the student listed below attends the shoot during the period 2 session, he or she will come to room 137 right after period 1 ends.

  1. Write up the survey results, post them on your wiki in a web friendly format
  2. Make a Pugh chart based upon your survey results.
  3. Come to class with sketches for your potential design
  4. have a print of your survey results on one group member's wiki by the start of class tomorrow.
  5. Each person will make a paper version of their idea for a locker organizer.
  6. Tomorrow, the best aspects of each team's organizer will be combined into a cardboard or foam core model.
  7. To do the heavier material, it will be important to have accurate measurements of the interior space of the locker.

  1. The Museum Of Science is settling in on October 23, Monday.
  2. Permission slips are due as soon as possible.
  3. If we set it up to run early through the period 2 class, you will need parental and teacher permission on a written form by Friday to participate in the earlier period.
  4. We may run through lunch, but you probably will not have time in class to eat.
